MR2 GT-T Bar Turbo £700 Quick Sale Needed Urgently

Hi everyone,

I am selling a standard Rev1 MR2 GT T-Bar Turbo in Red. I bought this car off my friend who started to strip the engine due to a head gasket failure, but he lost interest and I bought the car and two boxes of bits from him as a little project. The car is all back together and we went on a maiden voyage yesterday and she ran reall really well, I am very impressed. Started on the first turn and idles steady.

I am however selling her as spares or repairs due to a water leak from a pipe and a very small oil leak.
I have unfortunatly run out of time to fix these last two problems as the car has been kept at a friends workshop (with ramps) but she has outstayed her welcome and I am about to start a new job next week and wont have time to sort things out, plus I have just bought a 10th anniversary MR2 as a turbo project for later in the year so space is worse than bad for me.

As mentioned I have ran the car for about 5-10 minutes and there has been no funny noises but I didnt want run her for longer without a circulation of water (was topped up during fire up.)

She will very easily drive under her own steam onto a trailer, but I would not recommend she be driven without the water pipe being fixed as a minimum.

The Spec:

*1990 Rev1 GT Turbo T-Bar, no leaks as she has been outside for a few months and all is bone dry.
*80,000 KPH on the clock (51,000 miles)
*Personalised Plate starting "RIL" valued at £300 online included in the sale
*Lockwood White Dials
*Alcantara and Leather excellent interior in my opinion no rips, but some wear
*Aftermarket Boost gauge in carbon effect pillar pod
*8-10 inch LCD display in centre consol attached to a reversing camera (Kind of a cool thing)
*Compeletly Standard Engine and nice low mileage CT26 (Play has been checked)
*Polished Rocker Cover
*New Dizzy Cap and Leads (1 Year old replaced by the previous owner)
*Yellow Fog lights
*Lexus Clear Rear Lights
*Rev 3 Smoothed centre panel with laser etched MR2 name
*Standard MR2 alloys and good tread on all wheels
*Blacked out rear quarter windows and rear window
*Standard exhaust but big bore flanges welded on both side for the big bore look (Not my cup of tea, but came with the car)
*Toms style scoop on the passenger side

I would like to get about £700 for the car as I am pretty sure she is an easy fix in a weekend, with space and tools.

Although I am open to offers as space for me is a big problem.

The Blitz dump valve will not be on the car it is being replaced with the standard.

Haha, sorry I'm not the weekly payment store, haha. With regards to the two leaks, the oil I believe is from the turbo return pipe but is so difficult to see. I cleaned the area and that's the closest location I can narrow it down to by using a mirror. The water leak is coming from the violent pipe to the rad and the area I believe is leaking is where the pipes go behind the petrol tank in the centre of the car. I am pretty sure the fuel tank will need to come out to isolate the leak.
