Where in the car are they? It's probably best to keep information to PM so it doesn't give any 'thieving gypo bar stewards' any idea's :thumleft:

Yeah, keep to pm please :thumleft:
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Thanks for all the PM's everyone, and a big thanks to Luke at http://www.pacific-works.co.uk/ , after a bit of head scratching we realised that with the keys still in the ignition the easiest solution was to wind down the window :D

I have the anti hyjack thing with my sigma alarm and ive wondered if it would lock the keys inside if I left it with the engine running?

If you shut the door quick enough yes, I have done it, luckily at home with a spare key or very bad, car locked and engine running!...

well the alarm doesn't lock the doors straight after you start the engine it waits a set time and if you shut the door but don't get in within that time then it will lock the car and you out with the engine running! I have done it :D ...

Can anyone cut spare keys for these or does it have to be Toyota?

I remember my last MR2 I tried to have one cut and it would unlock the doors but not start the car.

Locked my keys in the boot of the MR2 in Germany (opened the boot to put a bag in with the doors locked...), expensive phone call to the RAC and 2 hours later and the a nice german got me my keys back. Oh the embarrassment!

I had a standard security/key specialist cut me a new one when I first got the car, new one worked better than the original...
