I want this Nova :thumleft:

I've had 3 in the past and would love another but you just dont get any good ones now. I loved my last 1989 1.5TD.

that Nova is sooo nice! they go for silly money now. prob 10k + for that. what is the turbo motor?
and yes, they have come out the other side of chav now. even so, i'd keep a burberry cap in the car for when it's driven, just for effect!!

i see more of my ex- classic the ur quattro than i do nova's on the road.

Turbo motor is out of Calibra, it also has the Calibras 6 speed gearbox. Dread to think how much the car owes me over the years but glad people like it.

I only got my twos, '85 1a and '89 1b but I've always grown up with classic mg's.

My dads 1960 MGA Roadster 1600

Not got a good pic of my mums 1972 MGB GT, Old English White with Chrome Wire Wheels, just behind it is my dad's old MG Midget he swapped for the MGA, the silver thing behind it is a MGA Le Mans Replica with a Rover V8.

I'm following aw11rally's thinking... one of my other cars says classic on it, therefore it must be!!

And no, that spoiler isn't a permanent feature

Not quite enough posts for photos yet, but I have a bit of a thing for late 80s cars, so previous vehicles have been Mk2 Polos, 205s and an AX GT. Also got a classic piece of design, Lotus Seven replica, with a Suzuki bike engine it it.

My new classic

Post by aw11rally »

I've jumped into bed with another 'classic' while the mk1.5 daily drive is getting welded back together (I clutch kicked the front torque mount right off the chassis).

£120 Mk3 Golf GTI with slight gearbox issues, 1st 2nd and 3rd are ok(ish) 4th 5th and reverse are extremely temperamental.
Image

Engine and box coming out today, nice new shiney engine and box going in on Monday hopefully (£140 for a front clip with all the desirable mods, filter, leads, polybushed, ARB, etc etc).

GSXR engined Aries Locost (currently awaiting new engine :-/ ):

Revival

Post by aw11rally »

I though I would revive an ancient thread. There must be some more classics in IMOC after 3 years passing!

Image
190e Sportline, P100 Pickup, 944S, MR2 Mk1.5.

1950's International / McCormick B250

My 'scrap pile' (the wifes words, not mine) is still growing.
