Hi,
Currently I have 18inch KEI RSS alloys on the back of my car. Width of 225
I have 2 17inch alloys with a 215 width on the front.
Now I was going to order 17inch rss alloys for the front so the alloys matched but after talking to a rep/technician at dcperformance he reccomended staying with 18inch on the front but using 215 width tyres for the front and 235 for the back.
Is this correct? Can I not simply just order 17s for the front and stick 215s on them?

Re: Alloy sizes
the size of the rim has nothing to do with the width of tyre that can go on it. What does affect the width is the width of the rim which you'd haven't stated.
