Dragon age series

Who's played them and what do you think? I've really enjoyed the fallout series and oblivion and I've heard dragon age is similar? Anyone played or heard good things about them?

It's worth playing the first before the second.

You'll get it preowned pretty cheap now and buy the time you've finished it, DA2 should be in the prreowned.

Good games though, i'm looking forward to the second.... but not as much as Oblivion

Dragon age 1 was really good if you enjoyed things like Baldurs Gate or Neverwinter nights

With DAO2 EA have tried to morph it with Mass effect 2 - so there is 'nicer' scenery, but less actual content. I'm not so sure I like it
