As above really. I'm toying with the idea of fitting standard 15s that have been powdercoated gloss black on my azure blue mr2. But I want to know what it will look like before I buy the wheels.
Has anyone got a pic that might help me decide?
Here's an azure blue mr2 if you're unsure of the colour:

Unless you are going to lower it and add some performance parts I would stick to the classy look that the polished rims give. Black stock wheels only look good on a trag slag to me.

Just a bit of a crude quick photoshop to give the idea, my rev2 wheels are going black soon too...

Awesome. Thanks for that mate. You've got skills!

Hmm I see your point. The problem with rev4 polished wheels is that they're all corroded and it's expensive to get them repolished. I'll have a think.

Haha no problem, easy enough, hope it helped.
As for me, I think the black looks great with the blue...

Here's mine....
The car feels a lot better on stock wheels so I'm going back to that. Will prob refurb the wheels white.

b8ucks:
I'm not a fan of blue but personally I think it looks really nice as it is on the standard wheels like that.
It'll be a lot cheaper to have them refurbished compared to the time/money it'll cost to have them sprayed black.

Do you mind me asking where you sourced your drifz wheels from? have you had to have much work done to the rear arches to make them fit/not catch?
