Just seen this thread! Great project, looking forward to seeing it progress, I supercharged my mk2 but it was the 3S-FE engine which meant I had a little more space but started off with less BHP to begin with!

Finally started on the bodywork. Bare with me though as I've not started sanding it smooth yet. Idea is to make a mould from the wings etc in the pics
started with wood forming

then added material and covered in resin
Image
then a bit of clay to get the shape
Image
Image
Then a layer of filler so it can be sanded peachy smooth :)

these 2 pics show wood forming for door and start of rear panel

Slight change of plan. Car will be more for fun than anything and of course drag racing so had to get rid of a bit of weight.
Think I might have gone a little far
the bits I dont need anymore

whats left, til the grinder comes out

the plan is a mix of this

and this

Ohh ... you found our compressors on our german board

Currently our compressor isn't on the engine of the car and my buddy drives NA since the last 2 years. It ran good and had nice boost but we had to fabricate a new bypass system. That's were we stand at the moment, we have a lot of other projects running at the moment, and didn't had the time to finish our converseion yet

Nice to see our Links on this board. I was the first one on the german board who had the idea to put an Eaton on my engine, tha's a few years ago. But honestly i had that idea cause of one member on IMOC that built a compressor boostet 5S-FE - i guess his name was goldie :-k
