Sounds good to me! My 2 litre 3 series only gets 400, and that costs £70 to fill!

Sounds right ish, I got roughly 327 on a near enough complete motorway journey.

Be way down in the 200's with town driving.

380 sounds very good. Sure you're not in kilometers?

I average around 300 mile per tank.
Best was 471.2 though 8)

Easy highway, without turbo'ing it all the time, I get around 5~600 km.

£15 quid per 100 miles is pretty good going for an NA MR2 nowadays. That equates to 37mpg at £1.119 per litre.

I'm pretty much 360/380 miles per tank also. Probably over 400 if I risked running it right down. Been checking it for a while now I'm doing a commute to work again. Mixed motorway and town but mainly thrashed. Engine has about 20 miles short of 211000 miles on it.

A few years ago I was getting about 10 km per litre and reserve light came on and took about 40 ltrs to fill up.... suggesting 550 km/340 miles to run the tank dry although I would not run it that low.

Over the last year it has been doing better than that with about 10-11 km per litre suggesting upto 380 miles to run the tank dry.

I think these figures are pretty much the economy figure in the owner manual - not bad for a car that is now 16 yrs old and high mileage.

I found the economy does vary with super unleaded fuel supplier with a difference of about 60 km for the reserve light to come on.

On the other hand, how accurate is the tacho and fuel gauge?
If I do 50 miles on a route, my mates 52 plate beemer on exactly the same route only clocks up 45 miles. I am on stock wheels too.
I guess 10% doesnt make much difference until you go passed a speed camera or average speed check.

Rev3 turbo 20p a mile on super unleaded but it's just failed mot on emissions and I can smell it's running super rich although the plugs never get more than mid brown and dry?

No idea what MPG the MR2 Turbo does - its not the sort of car that MPG matters, I just drive it and fill it up when the light comes on, which is once every other month - it doesn't get used much any-more, bit of a wasted car.

Mine twice a week

When I'm heading towards my girlfriend... and when I'm leaving to my place again.

That way my tank doesn't empty below 1/4 left.
AND those stations are BP Ultimate. Which are on my way anyways then, and the best to get in the area.
