No not really why's that? I see these advertised on realstreetperformance.com apparently are really good even on a stock car they idol perfect and still give extra horsepower with no other mod, so on mine they should give me loads? I know they are a bit extreme but I'm sort of keeping the future in mind for if I want further power

Ha!

On our drag car we were knocking on the doors of 1000hp and that only ran 1600cc injectors :!:

Some 850's or 1000's would suit you down to the ground.

Wolfkatz do some nice 1150cc injectors. Im aiming for 600fwhp and i have a set of 1200's in mine although im sure they should never get near critical duty.

ATS do a top feed fuel rail for about 1/2 the price of the wolfkats one!

I was gonna get the wolfkats injectors but then see the 2000cc ones for almost the same price so was just gonna get them? Was just thinking even if I don't need the full 2000cc worth I'm just getting more for my money lol

No.

The chances are the idle will be effected - even if they are ball pintle.

They say and show that they idol fine?

If 1600cc injectors push 1000bhp then what's the purpose of 2000cc??? The engine can't push much more anyway can it?

The little resisters on ebay say you get up to 25hp gain but thats not true!!

At the end of the day its up to you. If you have a burning desire to buy the 2000's then go ahead. I'm just offering you some advice, weather you listen to it or not is your call :)

you should choose injectors to suit your power goals. the smaller you can get the injector the better as it makes it easier for the mapper to tune the low end of the rev range.

imagine trying to fill a kitchen sink with a pressurized fire engine hose! well i could imagine a 2000cc injector trying to fuel a 900rpm idle being a similar sort of sanerio!

Good example

1000/1150cc will do with your power goal needs mate

Thanks for all your helpful advise! It is very much appreciated! Just trying to understand abit more about injector setups that's all. Think I will go with the complete wolfkats system with the 1150cc injectors.

If anyone knows anyone using these injectors then let me know how they get on with them as im more curious to see how they perform after reading all the info you guys have given me! After all this they seem a pointless product for an mr2

Whilst i agree the smallest injector size you can get away with will be better, Injectors have also moved on.

Check out the FIC/ID 2150cc's.

Specky's got them running on his tigra, 2.0l 4 cylinder and it idles fine @900rpm. IIRC the m/s time was better than the smaller injectors he was running before.

I think Roy Ashby was using them or around that size at least. They were fine at 680bhp(I can vouch for that  )

Hes currently breaking you might be able to get a deal
