Anybody know what TRD springs are like?

Post by bluesmoke »

How do they go with black Billies? Found a set in the region of £180 and really fancy them.

But what are they like? The fronts and rears seem to have different spring rates. I take it this is normal?

Has anybody run them?

I run them with konis and they work great! They dont slam the car to the ground though but they are low enough for me, there are some pics of how low the car is in my garage. The two sideon pictures.

The car rides very well, but ymmv depending on your arb setup.

I'm going to be putting on a set of TRD ARBs that I bought recently.

Should handle pretty well then by the sounds of it :thumleft:

Have you ever run them Jeff?

Can you identify which they are by sight or do they all look the same?

Ah right, as hard as coilovers? I don't want something that will make a long distance drive torture, just something nice and firm.

Looks like I need the soft ones then?

Yeah spotted these :) The fronts are the same in both sets, but the soft rears are only slightly softer from the looks of it.

got them on my rev5.
in my opinion, they are perfect.
they lower the car just enough.
and the ride is the ideal setup, whether for every day driving,
or ragging it around the twistys in the peaks.
honestly can't fault them. paul.
