[Mk2] [Turbo] how to wind down electric window...door not on a car

Post by djpkins »

Is there antone who knows how to wind down the window on a door that has no car to plug into...I just can't make the leads reach the connector block on my tubby but can attach the switches to the door so I just need to supply voltage to the correct pin(s).

any help would be greatly appreciated as the door is waiting to be sent to a guy who needs it asap.

Trace the wires from the motor to the door loom connector and connect a battery to the appropriate pins.

if the door cards off its easy just trace the two wires that go to the actual motor earth 1 side and power the other

that is what i had to do to mine when it got stuck down due bad wiring in the drivers door my issue was on the passenger side
