Hi, I'm new on this side of the forum as we've had a MK1 for many happy years but now we've just bought a '53 Roadster.
Are there any issues I need to look out for?
Also I'm thinking of changing the exhaust, doing this made a huge difference to the MK1, does it make a difference to the Roadster? These items caught my eye....

Word
I've changed both and can't really say that it made a massive amount of difference. Then again, I also changed exhausts on my Mk1 and Mk2 and neither did they.
Overall, the Mk3 seems to be a tad bit smoother and moves a small bit better at motorway speeds.
Nothing major. Either way, the pre-cat has to go
