And if you put and extra 60 seconds into removing the expansion chamber 1st you'll have even more room :thumleft:

dont you have to undo the pivot bolt at the bottom of the altenator? i did anyway as it seemed to releave stress off the adjuster bolt.

i didnt think the water pump was driven by the alt belt on the mr2's, i drove quite far and the temp needle never moved from were its usually sat i just had to get to the garrage before my battery died on me

Waterpump pulley is the one just to the right of the alternator :wink:

im thinking 3s-gte rev 3 sorry i got the wrong end of the stick that could have been some potential bad information. my mistake :silent:
