This year we left at the crack of dawn on the Friday, and got there for around 3pm.

We stayed an extra night

(Sunday) and the left for Calais around 9am, and got the 4pm ferry back to Dover.

Next year, i will be looking at doing the same journey, maybe even leaving on the Thursday so as to get a proper long weekend out of it.
