Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] polishing chrome help
Gav, whilst your here (in virtual form anyway )
I was looking earlier at all the stuff you polished up.. great work by the way.
Just wondered a few things
1) What Polish do you use and where from?
2) What engine components can be done.. or can you pretty much do everything?
Sorry for jumping in the topic but it's kind of related.
Cheers,

sometimes things go beyond buffing and have to be done again, polishing kit is a good thing to have always buffing up my exhaust and uses is endless, recently buffed up my well scratched wedding ring that came up like new.

hey dude im back lol.
thanks mate took my fingers off in the process
I basicly went buy this guide http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/kb.php?mode=article&k=113
i also bought a kit just like the one posted but mine came with lots of diffrent grades of hard wax, for diffrent metals and finishes
anything ally stainless and chrome (aslong as the plating is thick)
If you look inside you engine bay just about everything can be polished as most are ally, the only things that cant are cast and tin items, thats why i had to have the heat shields chromed
if you need anymore info just drop me a pm
thanks gav
