Description:![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
[/b]
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
My car is a December 1994 MR2 GT T-Bar Turbo
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Rev3) in Carribean Blue
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(8B6 Strong Blue Metallic)
I imported the car from Japan in January 2000, I am the only UK registered owner since then.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
When the car came over it was completely standard, no modifications except a Turbo Timer.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I still have the T-Bar shades and T-Bar bags in the original plastic wrapping!!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
At the time the car was registered in the UK, the odometer read 58,709Km
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(36,480 Miles)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
It has been my daily driver ever since and now reads 274,029Km
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(170,273 Miles)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The engine is original, never been opened, Consumes No oil, Starts up instantly
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I thank the following for the Mechanical longevity:
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Stock Toyota ECU, and always operated below factory fuel cut
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Regular Oil Changes
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Comma Motorsport Synthetic for the last 5 years, Mobil-1 or Shell Ultra-Helix Synthetics before that)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Always original Toyota Oil Filters bought in bulk from the USA
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(6 spares supplied)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* ROGUE engine bay fan kit
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Water Injection!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* STOCK toyota Air Box and Air Filter
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Replacing the CAM belt on-time every 100,000Km
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(at a toyota Dealer
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
@ 100K, and then by ROGUE
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
@ 200K)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The car body is in average condition.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
At the end of the day, the car is nearly 17 years old, has covered many a motorway journey
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- not to mention the odd trackday and European road trip!
There are plenty of motorway stone chips, two
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
'supermarket dints' that could easily be rubbed back if you wanted.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
There is also a spot of rust in the usual place on the bottom of the drivers door
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The windscreen was replaced last month with a New Toyota item
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(With embedded antenna)
The Brake Pads were replaced last month all-round after returning from the Nurburging
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(the disks have less than 6,000 miles on them)
The front radiator was replaced 2 months ago
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(immediately before the Nurburgring trip)
I also replaced the Aircon Radiator at the same time with a very good condition used item from IMOC, but have not got round to re-gassing it!
And finally the battery was replaced at Christmas with another OEM Toyota battery.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Other bits ![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
YES, I HAVE BEEN ON A FEW TRACKDAYS!!!![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
In fact, I'm quite proud of that fact.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The car has been round the Nurburgring about 100 times,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otFsC4CnlzY
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
as well as Spa Franchorchamps,

![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
My last trip to the Nurburgring was only last month, here's a little Ferarri Ownage for your pleasure
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Stock Boost at the time too!)

![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The car has been modified from standard by me over the last 10.5 years to include the following:
These modifications have been focussed around Handling and Engine reliability:
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Clifford Concept 600 CAT-1 Alarm, with Prox, Glass Break sensor, Tilt/Motion sensor,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

* Tein front pillow-ball adjustable top-mounts
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
'Twin Spal Fan' engine cooling cover
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Exhaust turbo down-pipe
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Exhaust system
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- EXE-Altair Full stainless steel
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Very High Grade)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
This exhaust is very free-flowing, 3.25" pipework through from down-pipe/CAT elbow,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Yet when I've compared it on a Dyno, is NO LOUDER than the original Toyota exhaust!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
This exhaust has a beautiful note on wide open throttle, and is perfectly quiet crusing on the motorway.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Note, The original exhaust system will be supplied
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* SpeedHut EL speedo dials, with twin colour Dimmable controller
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Paul Port
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Yes Me) Copper Contact Distributor Cap
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Mark Summers design)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Paul Port
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Yes Me) Mappable Water Injection system
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Paul Port
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Yes Me) Digital Boost Gauge with warning buzzer and serial input for an Innovate Wideband O2 sensor
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
* Paul Port
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(Yes Me) Electronic Boost Controller
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Instruction manuals for my home built parts will be provided in PDF
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- I'm sure you've heard about most of them before.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
When running 16psi, I have a Dyno Sheet
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(supplied) reading 286 Bhp DIN 70020
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(214 at the wheels), but clearly it's not driven this hard all the time.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
New car is waiting in the wings, so No PX's
Thanks.
