Front mount intercooler?
Hi does anyone know of a front mounted intercooler set up being used? Was thinking of running one with a NX exPress nterCooler system and big turbo? Was thinking this would be good on a drag strip?

Its not a very good idea.
The pipework is too long for air to flow through without adding massively to lag.
On the dragstrip i suppose it might be better, especially if you ran the pipework straight through the cabin like Phoenix Power did, but it would be awful on the street.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Front mount chargecooler rad is fine though, because the
air
only flows a short way, but the liquid that cools it is steadily pumped from the c/c core up to a rad at the front of the car.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

If you just want a big I/C, just go bootmount.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
