Some of you will know... I'm changing car at the end of July... (Finally after 10+ years! and nearly 130,000 Miles)
I've had the sugestion to advertise it in Germany as well (Could be a fitting end?)

Question is... Will any of you have a spare seat to get me back to Kent??!?

Cheers,
Paul

Ah! That reminds me, I still have to order my JAE Ticket, I may be MR2less by then but I won't be missing out !

My Ferry is now booked

P&O
Depart 0555hrs Friday 30th July.
Return 2315hrs Sunday 1st August.

My plan is to return Sunday Night, a 11pm ferry means I have to leave about 3pm... Actually this is slightly preferable to a really early Monday start!

Scott,
If you have not already transferred funds to our German friends - I can send money to you instantly... Otherwise I'll pay-on-the-day ;o)

Thursday Night.
Depending on your plans... I can reccomend a really good Curry House in Sittingbourne - 10 mins from Maidstone... I eat there every time I go home to visit the Folks (Where I'll be staying overnight)
Any Starter x1,
Any Main x1,
Any Rice x1,
Any Vegetable side x1,
Any Bread x1
For £10 a head - and it's great food too!

Sounds like a really good deal - I can never turn down cheap curry! I'm up for that for sure :)

Some bad news, though - Yana won't be able to get her visa sorted in time so she won't be coming. The really bad news is that I'm still going :clown:

For anyone who is not wanting to camp i have had a messeage from Peter from Holland about some spare space at the hotel they are staying in. Anyone interested in this option drop me a line and i will put you in contact. :thumleft:

Hello Scott,

Maybe there are people interested in going to Duderstadt, but don’t like camping ?

We still have rooms left in the hotel that we book every year, the hotel is “Zur Erholung” in Brochthausen (8 km from Duderstadt) (www.zurerholung.de).

Costs are € 86 per person for the weekend, from fridayafternoon until sundaymorning, meals and breakfast included.

No, I haven't sorted my Maidstone hotel yet either :)

Presumably that's working on the basis that you don't sell your car while you're over there? I'll be coming back on the Monday if you do end up in my passenger seat :P

That's a shame... do you wanna see if you can get your room switched to a twin and save me a fortune?

All

Am thinking of getting some event polo shirts knocked up for this event. Thinking of doing a white polo shirt with the IMOC logo on the breast with the German MR2 club logo underneath, and 'Duderstadt 2010' embroidered on the back along with the username.

Price will be £15 per shirt.

Good idea?

I can't amend the room unfortunately as it was the cheapy deal, however, there's likely to be a pull-out bed in there as pretty much all these rooms will sleep 3. You're welcome to take a chance on that if you want?

One more polo shirt please Scott :)

Well you should be packing a Sleeping Bag at least anyway!!

Other than that, I was going to say I could have a word with Mum & Dad and see if they are OK putting another soul up for the night...
You'd have to excuse the mess, spare room being used to store all my moving stuff!

paul.

PS, yes, I'd be up for a Polo shirt (Small)
But are you fixed on White?

Not only are we Camping (Mess) but as a single bloke with no Laundry sense - it would probably end up another colour after the first wash anyway!
