Pop my backbox

Post by Rubber Chicken »

Hey guys,

I have a departure II exhaust I bought years ago for a project I never got round to doing and honestly it's not in a great condition, big dents basically on the backboxes? I'm thinking about sorting it out to sell. Is there any way I can pop these back out?

Thank you please

you could try the 'heat with a heat gun and then spray with an upside down compressed air bottle' routine, iv found it works well on wide shallow dents but not so well on deep ones

it might do, never tried one on a dent before, but it should work the same, might take longer to heat up enough thats all

Hmm,think I will give it a go when i can get hold of my brother for his compressed air thingy, should be a task,he usually replies to messages I sent him days ago thinking i've just sent them, confusing times.
If not, where do I get one of these from? Who would sell one?

i get mine from a local 'sells everything' shop for £1.50 each but most stationary places like staples sell them (bit more expensive though)
