I'm relocating my battery, does anyone know how many amps the starter draws on cranking so i can add the correct circuit breaker?
Thanks
Neil

Re: starter motor amps drawn on cranking
Common figures seem to be around 150-250 amps for normal sized 4 pot petrols. Apparently they start at around 250amps and drop as it continutes to crank.
I'd wait for a proper answer before you buy any breakers!
Makes me think though - the amplifiers I'm about to fit in my BMW can draw 180 amps between them.
