Hi Scott.
The All-in-one price for participants of the meeting last year was 64€, you can have a look on the old register site of last year for some more information.
I think this year it will be in the same range.
There are included the breakfast and evening lunch (BBQ and salads) from saturday morning to sunday morning. Saturday noon everyone eats while the exposition in Duderstadt town at his own choice.
Also included is the tent camping, toilet and shower at the "rote warte" as well as beer and softdrinks.
People who sleeps in hotels they get some reduced price without camping and breakfast.

i think its a fair price for all these services. is this the info you wanted?

Is it in only that far into Germany. Been a while since I crossed continent. Last time I went through the German / French border it was at twice the speed limit!

No it's quite a way into Germany and we have to go through Belgium and the Netherlands as well. But you said France

And the reason for the drive:

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

But on the French Autobahn you have to pay taxes. In the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany there are no taxes...

Taken from German Forum

Since Friday's a working day most of the guys will arrive between 3 to 8 pm, so don't worry

I think the best way of getting the right information is to contact Mayo who organizes the camp site.
Benno, the owner of the site is quite a nice guy so I think this will be no problem?

I think the best bet would be to leave early Friday morning, and stopping the Sunday night (if possible) and return home at leisure on the Monday.

All in favour?

Agree totally, seems a long way to go if really only going to be one proper day there.

OK. Checked with Mario (German organiser of the Duderstadt meet) and he does not think it wil be a problem. If we require breakfast on the Monday morning then that may cost extra.
So, i propose leave Friday morning early doors, return at leisure on Monday.
:thumleft:

Hi Scott, also clear that should not be a problem, I think, without any further cost to you. Except for breakfast on Monday, but that I clarify yet! Greeting Mario

Coolio, so someone needs to make their mind up about which ferry to get. Did anyone look into things like Ramsgat and Harwich?

Do we know how far it is with the mileage at all, scrap that, I will look at it today. Am going to weigh up costs of more expensive ferry against mileage costs.
