"Hey Mate, that must be one heck of an engine under there, innit? Oh, there's no engine, it's just a massive collection of Burberry caps? Wicked!!" #-o

That one was on the MK1 stand at the last Billing Jae. It was good quality work, just on the wrong car. :D

There's a huge difference between the cars in the first few posts of this thread and the chavved up abortions you are posting up Jeremy.... those last two are crimes against Mk1 Mr2s.

On that note, this is the sort of person i despair of owning a Mk1.... the description says it all really.

WOW! Its got the rare 'w11 engine 1600'! Never heard of one of them!

Also, what the **** is a dvd sunvister?!

All jokes aside though, The bodywork looks in way better condition than mine and those wheels look like they'd be worth a few bob. How does the 2 handle on such big wheels?

Tax and MOT as well and under 500, hmmm *looks in wallet*

Nah, the same car can't win two years in a row kevin, and that one was the only other modified car on the stand, the rest were all stock.... so it won.

modded cars are all very nice clever and cool but in reality you would be hard pushed to better this, totally standard low mileage just as it left the factory!!

nice kevin, but I personally love the 2 tones (and hate the std 1b wheels) I also have a soft spot for the 1a's

Paul, love your old 1.5, love the eurosport body kit. The lime green one is de skirted isn't it? That's actually a really good clean look. I'd like to do that to mine but fear for what I would find underneath. Ive seen scary photos of rusty holes when the skirts come off. If it aint broke...
