What sort of time are people getting there or is there a certain time we have to be in by ???

Looking at earlier post...

The gate opens at 9.30, Its £9.50 per person when coming in an mr2.
That includes the car and parking on the club stand located in the museum grounds, with full access to the site and all hangers.
Payment is at the gate.

But what time are we getting there Do we set off at 9 or earlier like 8 ?? .......im working till 11 the night before so il sleep on the way down there . . . hang on im driving

Well My end there will be Chalced and Turral . . . . depending which way were going we will probably meet up near the Ricoh arena.

It's going to take about an hour & a half to get there, I suggest we meet at the first Lay-by on the A14 as you will be coming down the M6 to the end & then jumping onto A14, looking a Google maps it appears a good spot to wait as a big lay-by with lots of room should anyone else want to hook up here too, shall we meet at around 8.15am? obviously up to you guys if you're meeting at Ricoh first?

What do we think???

I'll send you my number Mike so you have it as I already have yours from a previous email, 11pm finish the night before is a bu88er but I'm sure it'll be worth it, especially if the suns out!

Information for Participants

ENTRANCE
Gate: Entry will be through Gate 1, which is the nearest one to Royston.
Note – this is NOT our main Visitor Entrance.

How to get there: The Museum is just off J10 on the M11. Please follow the
yellow ‘Car Club’ signs on the A505, which will lead you to Gate 1.
Opening Times: Gate 1 opens at 0930. The

Museum will open at
1000. Please make sure you are in your designated area by 1200.
The Museum closes at 1800.

PAYMENT

Payment will be collected by a member of IWM staff at the entrance gate.
Admission rate for Car / Motorbike Owners: £9.50 per person. Children under 16
can go in for free.


DISPLAYING AREA

The event will be held between Hangar 4 (Battle of Britain hangar) and our Tank Arena by
the Land Warfare Hall. Car parking marshals will help you find your allocated area. In
addition, a map indicating your area will be available from the kiosk on the day.

Finished cleaning and polishing Tilly last night for the first show of the year, finally fixed my knocking noise from the rear as well.
