You can top off the tank nearby to the start point. Or on the A3 when we stop at the services. 175 miles (taking off 25 miles to get there) in the tank to start with will be more than sufficient.

Cheers Malc. Tank is full, so I'll see how I am when I hit the A3!

I google mapped my joiner and it was about 120miles door to door. Probs the majority of a tank :(

have had a mad rush getting the car ready but sooo looking forward to this! :thumleft:

yeah was great run guys, good to catch up with a few. First time ive actually driven the sky fairly hard and fallen in love with it.

Everyone seemed to be spitting flames all night, and had a few extra cars on the run for short period of times and really was great fun.

Still not sure where all these people that put there name down were though?? Lol

cheers guys, great night :thumleft:

cheers for organising malc, good run! I was thinking your car was, shall we say, going pretty well, and that was before I came up and noticed the 212 thousand miles on it! I guess it's about run in now (:

liking the flames also!

Sorry i missed it guys, my car developed about 4 different faults over last week, culminating in almost spitting me off a motorway on friday afternoon.

Thanks to all fopr turning up, glad you didn't think I was driving too slow. Coming from you with your car Vashy, I take that as a compliment. Will be another midnight run organised reasonably soon. Hopefully we can get a few more on this one. The route was over a bit quickly this time, so might look at extending it a bit more, to take in a bit of an extra route after Petworth, though finishing in Guildford was sweet. Many thanks again to all who turned up, burnt enough fuel for a power station for a year, enough red bull to keep a football team awake for 3 years, enough smokes for even the most cheapest hollywood hitman and in ant's case produced enough flames to rival a NASA rocket!

 That will be where all my fuel went then! Next time round I need to organise someone to video the car from behind on one of the legs. Really want to see the flamage.

I agree that the route could do with extending. There are some interesting roads down towards Goodwood I've heard. Perhaps a normal Guildford meet could test a few out. Looking forward to making a few more this year! :thumleft:

We have previously gone down and past Goodwood, but I didn't know the roads well enough to include that in the run, will review the route for next time to see if we can get something new in as well :thumleft:

Cool. I'll have a word with a guy here at work as he mentioned some of the road.

I may have more flames for you next time :thumleft:

I'd rather find it myself, its not just about where to go, but where to go safely. The lead car driver needs to know the road as safety depends on it, not just for him but for the people following.

Apologies for not making it this time, the Celica has been losing far too much oil to be thrashable and the Black Mk1s headlights are absolute poo. I'll be at the next one with the V6  and Cass will have her Mk2. :thumleft:
