Also excited about this, can't wait to see cityscapes built using the CryEngine.
I do hope though that the PC version graphics are not stunted due to them porting it to XBox and PS3, I'm all geared up to bung in a second GTX280 to get the best of this game in 1080p

Re: Crysis 2
Admitedly i havent played it but Crysis just seems like a huge tech demo.
Just seems strange in todays gaming market, especially the PC gaming market that you would make a game that in order to play it you have to spend over 1k to see the best.
And thats still talking about the first one. God knows what spec youll need to run the sequel.

Word
As I've played Crysis and Crysis Warhead all the way through, I can honestly say that it's Far Cry on massive steroids. Personally, I enjoyed the game and found no faults with it (Heck, I've completed Judge Dread and that was bad)
Last week, in fact, I built the following system so I'm possibly ready for C2
i7-920 2.6Ghz Quad (may clock at a later date)
Asus P6t Deluxe
Noctua NH-U12 heatsink + fans
6Gb G.SKill ram
THERMALTAKE VL80001W2Z V3 BLACK EDITION
Three extra fans
750W Beef Tastic psu
DVDRw drive
2x nVidia 280gtx cards in sli
Crucial 64Gb SSD 2.5" drive
Standard 1Tb 7200Rpm drive
Dell 23" 2048 x 1152 screen
It's fast. It leaves my current Q9650 machine behind a bit!
Bring on Crysis 2
