What's the going price on a rev3 turbo...?

Post by shabz »

Its been a while since I've scoured the market, so was wondering what the going price was on a rev 3 turbo?

e.g. with say 70k miles, basic stage 1 mods, plus suspension?

Would I be far off in saying about £3500-£4000? or has it dropped more?

seems to be around that figure, 3500 should get you a good one.

I paid 4200 for 69K just before christmas.
Rev 3 Tubby Clutch + Belts done, well looked after

Lightly modified with good quality bits (Nur spec + Greddy Intercooler ,Rays Volks, Rogue quad head lights, blitz induction, apexi boost controller.)

Was imported new so had a full history though, very very very rare.

Thought that was a steal.

Depends how good you want it to be. I got one with a bunch of history, an HKS Super Dragger exhaust, but idling rough/cutting out and in need of a serious machine polish, new front discs/pads, a few new suspension parts and a tidy up all round for the princely sum of £1500.

But it's a nice little project and I got it running perfectly within two days by changing the idle control valve

^^ Cracking price,

Don't know if you remember me Nick I came and had alook just when you were only thinking of selling wanted 5K for it then. 4200 for the car is a steal. You should sell the mods seperatly your probably make a alot more extra money from it that way. :-k Theres a cracking Rev 4 under there too.

I'm also looking for apexi power fc + hand commander

ah yes james. i remember you 8)

how are you?

i take it you bought the other rev4 you said you might look at then.

selling the mods (with standard parts in exchange where necessary) could be an option or breaking it could be another

i'd rather sell it as a whole though. i only have the power fc ecu anyway, no commander

very nice example! i would actually consider that if i wasn't looking for a built motor

on a side note...i'll swap you your powerFC for a stock rev3 ecu for £200 if you like? :D :D

it'd still make similar power figures too ;)

i have still got the oem ecu 8)

the difference between a mapped power FC and oem ecu on the same mods is quite significant i found.

Prices still seem fairly constant then. Sold my clean black rev 3 turbo almost 18 months ago for £2600 but it had 94k miles on the clock. Bodywork was pretty mint and had some nice choice stage 1 mods along with rare advan wheels.
