and 6k is a lot of money to part with but like bobby says there are people on here that will deffend him (me 1 of them)
and as to regards to the 90 degree bends and the remarks on intercooler above exhaust!!!
WTF look where the standard 1 is right next to the down pipe and try have a look at some other cars,
Intercooler nearly touching the radiator or in some casees so close to the manifold its constantly warm to the touch
Nathen's was a prime example, bend to go back into the T/B was right next to the exhaust side of the turbo!!! But it still gave the goods :thumleft:

You obviously know what you are on about. :thumleft: Ignore my comments. Go buy it

If you do go and look at the car, make sure he hasn't photoshopped the pictures in his for sale ad. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time. He is a waste of space.

I've seen this car and it looks exactly how it does on the pics.

The problem this guy has is that he earned himself a very bad rep amongst a lot of people very quickly regarding parts adn sales. Then add to this his blatant dishonestly which he denied and fought till teh raceway got involved. Add also his prior admittance of using photoshop and you haev someone who has a very long road to travel before his rep is squeeky clean again. In all fairness he mnight haev cleaned up his act but he has a history which many have not forgiven him for. I'm just one of those people and would NEVER recommend giving him a penny. He has ripped people off and has shown a blatant dishonest streak. Can you reallt blame much of the feedback here?

Thanks for comments I've got a good range of feedback there....

It is difficult, suppose most car enthusiasts have these dilemas(probably not this controversial tho  ) theres alway the tendancy to rush when you want something.......

I want a two that wont get left by this....

That's all fair enough mate. If you've had a bad experience then yeh I'm sure you would not want 2 deal with that company / person again. I've had problems with other mr2 specialists & it's seems at the moment everybody has had a bad word about every company @ the moment.

Regarding Xxxx I've not had any probs dealing with him & the parts I've bought from him. Infact he has been the best at getting back 2 me when he has had my car (constant updates along the way)& I've had 4 mr2's over the last 8 years so I've used a fair few different garages at different times. "I" cannot fault him but that's just me.

I would go and make up your own mind really.

Cheers dan

ps nice motor!!!! Side exit =P~

True, and most traders will have a disatified customer. That will always be the case. However, the case would still stand against Xxxx and I dont know many affiliates who have supplied knackered parts. Not to mention lied on a monumental scale even photoshopping up fake timing slips!!!!!

...........thatis, unless they ahvent been caught!

Offer me the right money, and I might let mine go....

What I can't understand is how a so called banned trader gets so much advertising on here. If you mention the other well known chap or do a link to one of his products/site, it's deleted in seconds. :? But Xxxx has no issues on here at all. :eye:

On face value the cars seem ok and it is an mr2 so I guess thats why they get brought up. Its not good advertising anyway

I don't think it should be deleted as these threads are quite useful(despite turning into a witch hunt) as they show people what they might be getting thereself into

It's not that Rob, there's two high profile banned traders on here. Xxxx is one, and the others name is so tabboo I dare not say it! The other ones links are removed in no time, but Xxxx's links do not. Seems a little one sided that's all.

I agree, the posts and links are useful, from BOTH banned traders....But only one of them seems to slip the net.

The difference (I believe) is that Xxxx was never a trader on here so wasn't banned for that. In the other instance, the trader account was banned initially and then for continued foul play, the private account was also banned.

HTH :thumleft:

Incidently, if you come across any posts that you feel are unfair and should be removed/edited, feel free to click the Image button to bring it to our attention.

For what its worth, Shied has done an engine conversion for me and it was fine. No issues or hiccups and he constantly was on the phone advising on how its going and what he should and shouldnt buy/change etc without my say so.
