Possibly something to sort out on the day John, but is there any danger of me having at least 4 runs instead of 3? I only ask as the general consensus from the Zed lads is that you only get a sensible reading from the car after a minimum of 4 runs due to the way the stupid ECU works, so I'd really like to do that if possible. I have absolutely no issues with paying for two lots if that makes any difference, after all it'd be a waste to come away without a true result.

Let me know if you need more cash to cover it and I'll pop it over.

No idea, I've got to do 2 lots of runs. I'll ask Charlie.

Charlie's said that's OK, no extra cash required :thumleft: Also said I can do my ECU tests as one run if I can swap it while on the dyno... :D

Is it ok to add another spectator ? They're a member of the Mk1Mr2 club from Hayling island. I've sent them a link to this thread and am waiting on an answer. :-k

May have another spectator, in a Hyundai, but not too sure yet, again waiting on replies. Think also RedMK1 (Richard) will be in attendance as a passenger with either me or Jaspa.

Not a problem at all, spectating is still at pretty low numbers. I forgot to advertise this event on the MK1 club

I _may_ have an issue with the car having an MOT by then - it runs out on the 26th and I'm away from this weekend till the 26th... ](*,)
However, if the car makes it, any chance I can have a run with standard ecu and a run with a piggyback ecu to compare the differences?

As long as you can do the ECU swap in 5 minutes while the car is strapped to the dyno then that's fine.

Do they not give time between the dyno runs? Most companies do a run per car then again and again etc, on a rota system. Will need time to reset the ECU.

3 or 4 runs back to back at SRR each time I've seen anything run. Seems a quick and les labour intensive way to do it.

When I went to Millway they ran runs with gaps between to allow tuning and changes

That's more like the service you get when you're doing mapping rather than just power runs.
