Yes ladies and gentlemen, its time to dust off the car, polish up those lights, lose the sunglasses and head out into the night for the Guildford Run.
Event Day: 23rd April 2010 (Friday).
Usual plan, meet around 11:15 - 12:00 and at midnight set off for a run (in the cars unless you're fat like me and want to lose weight) probably taking in A272, A281 and some other fun driving roads. Usually return to our start place at about 3am.
Names down in the usual manner please and I will update this post shortly once the route is planned and checked.
1. Tiamat
Meeting place for the Midnight Run: Bramley Village Library just south of Guildford on the A281. Post code is GU5 0HG.
Arrival time is 11:15 onwards to leave at 12:00.
We have loud stereos and exhausts, there has never been any trouble with using this venue, however in the interests of being pleasant and congenial to the village, please keep all noise to a minimum.
Anyone revving exhausts or having loud music will be asked to stop or to leave, you endanger our ability to do the run if you do this.
Update:
For those who have never been before, or have been but not the full length: there is no allocated fuel stop along the planned route, it is recommended that you start with a full tank, or as close to it as possible. There are petrol stations in Guildford, Broadbridge Heath, on the A281 and there is a BP garage in Bramley, but I cannot tell you who will be open that night or not.
Remember bring coffee, smokes, red bull / whatever you need for the night. Oh and a coat, it can get cold and we do have a couple of breather stops.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

If you do the run in El, midnight or not, you're gonna need sunglasses!
How did the name El come about then?

I'll be driving back up to maidenhead afterwards Max if you want some company. It'll probably only take half an hour or so that time of night
