ive just fitted a PWR rad and oh my god i hated it and will never do it ever again and i had my bumper off. dont let me scare you though as the problems i encountered with that were due to it being after market you shouldnt have as much trouble with the standard one.

regarding coolant is it really neccesary to use the toyota coolant. ive got 10 litres of gulf coolant and redline water wetter to go with it. i cant imagine that mr2's can only use one type of coolant?

As long as it's ethylene glycol based and it's mixed 70/30 with distilled water it should be fine.

You have Pacific Works close by, if not pop in and see my mate James and Tring Clutch and MOT centre..
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

I just got me some mesh from my local autofactors (not halfrauds) cost me £15 for a sheet of decent alu fine mesh. I prob paid a bit too much but neverind...

I have an increasing pile of bits waiting to go on the car now... including mongoose zorst & decat, radiator, mesh & coolant, wheel bearing and brake disk cover... Gonna be a busy weekend me thinks!
