okay looks like the mark 2 std headlamp bulbs are about as much use as a chocolate t-pot (just like my old ST185) ...am I right in thinking that the replacements are H4 bulbs and does anyone have any recommendations for replacements/suppliers????
Thanks again in advance

I had Ring ultra xenon up to 60% brighter bulbs on all my cars but they were still dim.
My friend has 100w bulbs on his prelude and they are awesome as well as cheap to buy from eBay too. I will be using these when my mr2 is back on the road

Received mine, fitted them, everything great
Re: Headlamp Bulbs on a mk2
How do these look for approaching drivers?
Not sure if its these bulbs specifically but it seems lots of people now drive about with ultra bright light which while i'm sure is great for their visibility but basically dazzle everyone else on the road.
I wouldn't think that they make you safer if they impair the vision of the driver that is coming at you.
Although if these provide more visability to me without imparing other users vision then I would be up for a set

Osram Nightbreakers are fine.
I think the dazzling lights you refer to are most likely HIDs, one thing I would never do is fit HIDs to reflector headlamps
As long as the lights have been correctly adjusted, everything should be fine
