[Mk2] [NA] Sluggish at pulling away?

I have a MR2 MK2 G-Limited import. The main problem i seem to be having is that unlike my old MR2 there seems to be a luggish reponse when first pulling away. The revs seem to be responding correctly with acceleration pedal but the car seems to pull away poorly, any ideas please, Andy

Are the revs going up but the speed not moving in relation to the revs?

If so then your clutch is worn most likely.
