From rolling speed about 70mph... which one should have the legs on the other car?
Also over a tonne which one should start to pull away?

TT easily, either 180 or the 225. Turbo power rules in this case.

Thought as much so either the tt has issues or the na is modded.
cheers

the one with 2 exhausts is the 225, but as said, either one of them would pump an N/A
my missus rev3 n/a was just horrible to drive in comparison with my tubby, it couldn't keep up with anything

TT by a good margin if its the 225.

Even that would have it, it's the power delivery of a turbo car is different to an n/a, turbos just go and keep pulling, my 200sx could easily keep up with my mr2 tubby(when it was stock) and they are only meant to be 169 bhp(s13 model) that went all the way to 150 with no probs!
Re: Rev 3 NA Vs TT Quattro (Mk1 i think with 2 exhausts)
I could be completely wrong here but I thought 2 exhausts meant it was a 225 Quatro, 1 exhaust meant it was a 175/180 FWD model?
I've been in a 225 Quatro and it felt marginally slower than a standard tubby once moving. It was also quite possibly the nicest cabin I've ever been in!

2 exhausts=225 quattro (if black=240 quattro sport like mine )
1 exhaust=150fwd or 180 (later 190?)fwd or quattro.
TT's are heavy cars.
Re: Rev 3 NA Vs TT Quattro (Mk1 i think with 2 exhausts)
So I was right other than the power output of the FWD models
I actually really like them and would quite like a 225Q with the baseball leather and maybe a soft top.
I dont particularly care that there are faster cars out there. They're "quick" and bloody well put together. It's a car that IMO, will take a long time to feel old.

Look so cool to me

Nerdish info for you to impress your mates with, Matt...
The baseball leather was only on roadsters, not coupes.
The lower power models with single exhausts also had only one intercooler, the higher power models had twin i/c's.
