Is that how the red and black antenna wire should be? I get crap reception, even after installing a replacement aerial, but I haven't wired up the red and black wire from the audio wiring to switched power, as I wasn't sure that this was where it should be.I'm using one of those windscreen mounted aerials, but placed inside the rear lights centre panel, rather than the OEM aerial, and it should be powered by a live feed.
I've wired it into the red wire from the OEM aerial connector, but am wondering if this is connected to that red and black wire?
