PS3 Nissan GT Academy - Indianapolis Time Trial

Are any of you participating in the Gran Turismo Academy Indianapolis time trials on the PS3 and if so what is you current UK rankings ??

For anyone that doesn't know, the new time trial is available to download for free from the Playstation Store since 17/12 to race a normal and tuned Nissan 370Z around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course

My current uk rank is: 1813
Best time normal 350Z: 1.52.82
Best time tuned 350Z: 1.39.23

Time played so far about 12 hours using a GT force pro wheel, all driving aids off - my PS3 id is "Toffer"

Is anyone else competining in this time trial and if so who is the best imocer??

I grabbed it when it came out and had a few goes but can't remember my times now, will have to fire the PS3 up again but it's collecting dust at the moment while I play Forza on the Xbox.

I had a go, but i detest driving sims.

I think my best time for Tuned was about 1.44, or something close to that.

i played it for the first few days an got sick of it then.my ranking wen i left it was 22.jus checked there an im at 50 now.in ireland anyway.dunno how u check overall rankings. my times are tuned- 1'38.900 normal-1'50.781.total is 3'29.681 .thats in automatic and using a controller aswell!

I "WAS" rank 507 but that was about 10 days ago and not really been back on it (didn't the comp end on Xmas Eve?)

Currently ranking 1038 in the tuned car, not sure about the overall ranking.

1:51 something normal

was on for a 1:37 till I looked up to see my sector time

Normal Car: 1.52.08 2446

Overall 3.30.388 rank 1536

I'm going to have another long session at those times this weekend, the competition closes Monday

Im finding it tough to improve at those lap time levels

Stick with it... I'm finding much quicker ways through corners, it's just stringing it all together that I'm struggling with!
