Sorry guys, I am dropping out- my shoulder keeps dislocating (kayaking injury), so I'm having to have surgery on it. The doc doesn't want to sign off my physical until it's sorted, and I'm fully recovered- probably July time

Hope it goes well for you all and I look forwards to trying to catch up later in the season.

Just a quick reminder - the number you need to call is 0870 850 5014 and quote reference Rogue Motorsport. Motorsport Vision will take your details and hold them on file until at least 10 people have registered, at which time the discount will apply. Price is £332.10 and for this you get an open pit lane trackday in your own car, 20 minutes instruction and your ARDS test.

If you just want to do the trackday then you can get a 10% discount of the £119 entry fee by using the above number and reference.

Only need a couple more people now. :thumleft:

I'm wishing I'd waited now. I paid about £250 for the ARDS test alone. Then another £100-120 on the day for the afternoon track session. And I know one on one instruction in the car isn't cheap. I've done it before and I seem to remember it running something like £60 per hour. This is a very good deal.

Rogue, are they doing the actual test in the Bedford cars (VX220) or will it be in their own cars? Either way, this is a very good deal.

They're huge fun. So much so that I've found myself thinking about running a VX for as a daily driver.

Discounts Ahoy!

We've now reached the required level and the discounted rates apply. There are still places available for both ARDS and trackday. :)

My earlier post has been split.

Gutted I can't make this, water pump needs to be replaced so am doing the cambelt etc too. I use my mr2 about twice a year and when I do it just seems to cost me money!

If anyone wants to get to know the layout of the Bedford GT Circuit you can get a morning or afternoon session on the cheap this Sat:

I'm bringing the mk1 along for a giggle in the afternoon session.

Loosely related question, do Bedford allow spectators on their track days? A few of my friends are doing their test with you that day and I'd like to come down and see how it all works :thumleft:

Yup. They can watch from the hospitality/briefing room or if they want to brave the elements they can climb the stairs to the top of the grassy hill to watch from above. I don't think they're allowed in the pit area unless they're signed in and have had a safety briefing.

I've got someone coming to look at buying a mk3 this week. There's lots of interest in the Roadster and I really think you'll see the class pick up this year.
