2010 is nearly with us so we are looking forward to the new season and were starting in the south this year with a Trackaction-Online club day at Brands Hatch on Feb 5th.
This will be an open pitlane trackday on the Indy circuit with a 105db noise limit. As usual we will be limiting the numbers to ensure that everyone gets plenty of tracktime and we will have free instruction available for any drivers that want it.
Brands is a great circuit, fast, flowing and very challenging so well worth a visit and weve got the usual club pricing available. The list price for the day is £150 but weve agreed a club rate of £125; passengers can be signed in for £10 and extra drivers for £35, garages can be pre-booked for £20.
Thanks to the support of clubs and forums like yours weve had a great 2009 and were hoping to carry that into next year so if youd like to come along you can book HERE, if you post up on this thread Ill PM you the discounted booking code. We had a couple of drivers off here at our club day at Oulton last month and I'm hoping that we'll get more this time!
Hope a few of you can make it along!

PS - If you are looking likely to end up with socks and yet another Clarkson DVD, it might be a good time to drop a few hints to the better half that this would make a good xmas pressie!

Re: Brands Hatch trackday only £125!
Hi Steve, I'd love to do a Brand's Hatch track day, but I couldn't justify taking a day off work. A weekend one would be great.
Re: Brands Hatch trackday only £125!
Sadly it's an extra £2k to hire it the next day
Re: Brands Hatch trackday only £125!
So two drivers in one car mid-week on the Indy layout in winter for £155?
Pity it's not the GP Layout. Indy is a bit pants (IMO)

I guess you won't be coming along then
We'd love to do the GP but it would cost an extra £23k, yep, read it again, twenty-three thousand pounds more for the GP circuit over the Indy .
Our club rate is £20 cheaper than the MSV price on the previous day, can't really do any more than that without making a mess of the day. There will always be a cheaper trackday somewhere but we are looking to run a proper event with free instruction and minimal queuing so I think we are pretty competitive.
Hope that sounds OK?

Um, 160.
125 + 35 = 160.
And the 5th Feb is a Friday isn't it, not mid-week, so not that bad actually.
Might bear it in mind, have yet to try Brands.
