good games

Post by LeesaH »

I want to get some new games for the wii that are multi player or similar. Thought it might be good fun over xmas, some of you guys on here seem to know your stuff when it comes to computer games so any ideas welcome!!

Oh yes, some of them need to be suitable for kids :thumleft:

I don't have a wii and have never had an opportunity to play on one but do they do Super Monkey Ball? That was always good for a laugh.

The New Mario game. Isn't it a two player?

I'd buy a wii just for that one game

Guitar Hero? Seemed to work pretty well at JAE.

There are some good quiz games, I've got one but can't remember the name #-o

Loads of people can play and it's pretty interactive :thumleft:

Other ones are the sing star type games, I fancy that for my xmas.

Clicky

Start at the top and work your way down. Not infallible but a pretty good way to choose games if you're not sure where to start.

I haven't played my quiz for over a year as I don't have any friends

Buzz is great fun! I would get that, not sure if it is on the wii though? It wasn't when I bought my quiz game as that what I was looking for originally.

I'm not keen on the olympics game, I had it and was bored quickly.
Just simple sports is fun playing tennis etc against each other.

I personally find Guitar Hero on the Wii one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever suffered on a games console. It's nearly impossible to play in comparisson to the Xbox (and I presume PS3)

It may not feel the same to some one who hasnt played it on the 360 however.

That Wii Sports resort looks ok to me. And how about Lego Star Wars so you can use the Wiimote as a lightsabre?

I'd aviod Wii Fit if there are any overweight people involved. They all get touchy about the BMI and weight being displayed lol.

When I played it with some friends I was the only one with a normal weight & BMI and they all tried to make themselves feel better by saying I had something wrong with me. Err, no Mrs 35 BMI - you're the one with the problem not me!

Hey Leesah - you'll have to let us know how you get on with Guitar hero!

Took me a few days to get the hang of it, but once you do it is sooo addictive!
