[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo Gearbox

Post by luthor1 »

Hi there,

I have a Rev2 Turbo with a Rev3 type viscous LSD. My gearbox has died, and I may have a turbo NON-LSD gearbox available - I've heard I need the driveshafts off the NON-LSD turbo to match the gearbox, is that correct??

Cheers!

Splines are different length but they will still fit. :thumleft:

So looking at the pictures, and what Lewis Jay said - going from LSD to NON-LSD is ok, that will work, but going from NON-LSD to LSD *wont* work??

Thanks
Andy

The splines should fit either way, i have tried them before.

I think they just did it to strenghthen the engagement on the LSD shaft.
