any rev2 turbo owners near newport / chepstow?

Post by redmoose »

Hi all,
just wondering if there is anyone near me so i can compare my vacuum pipes to a standard tubby engine,
a previous owner has fitted a diy boost controller and i want to remove it as i'm massively over boosting (20psi) and just whilst i get used to the car i want to take it back to stock with a view to fit a proper controller at a later date.

thanks

i have a rev 3 think there pretty much same layout, but he could have only put it between the actuator and turbo might be wrong but its only a case of disconnecting the 2 pipes and reconnecting 2

Thanks! got it sorted now, hmmm 7psi is a bit different to 20 isn't it :?
think a boost controller has moved up the priority list somewhat!
