They had hoped to have them on the market spring/summer this year, but the exchange rate screwed with their pricing. The AD08 would have ended up more expensive then their semi slicks had they started selling them when they wanted to.

They are still going to be pricey though, the guy I spoke to reckoned £200ish for a 245/40/17.

These prices are above what he was quoting me, but still, gives you an idea of the differential in prices for each size.

I've got my first track day in my rev 1 tubby in 3 weeks round Cadwell. I bought the car purely for track days so have completely stripped it out.

Also lowered it on tein's, caliper upgrade, vented discs, 15" compomotive alloys with a full set of 888's :)

Cant wait to see how it handles. !

I'm on ramhorn stainless manifold, GT35R, Dep2pro and I'm hitting 109.9db on the Brands static test. However, that was with a guessed 5250rpm.

ive had a gt35r and dep 2 pro, it was so loud.

i have a fujitsubo legalis r ex, full race manifold and a BW sx300 75/85 turbo, i havent tested the static noise yet, but id say its about 98ish

R888's are great, I run them on my 5. I went from normal road tyres thinking that I don't ever need more power as I couldn't get the power down to I think 60bhp ish more would be about right :)

The legalis R was something that caught my eye the other day. Looks as close to what a few custom places have recommended as you can get. Big long single silencer.
