hi,
here is pics of car after being painted white-i have some kerbing to polished alloy lip and fancied a change of alloy colour.........
can anyone do the alloys black(spokes etc) with white outer dish/lip

any other ideas welcome???

i was thinking also gold alloys or a very vibrant red look?

any photoshop help welcome :mrgreen:

im going to have a go at the white dish now but i could really do with a higher res picture as when you magnify the image it is VERY pixely

Nice! Colour is a tiiiny bit limey for takata green though! O:)

yeah i was trying to dull it down but it ending up looking to british racing green, because the finish on the wheels when you change the colour it gives a pearl effect

hi mate,and thanks for all the input there....will try get pic of car with better camera tomorrow and load it up on here-i fancy a look at what it would appear with full white and white polished lip/black insert d1's i've got on it

David21 yes mate i dont mind doing that for ya but i need a better pic, the wheels are very small in the image

hi guys,
i think i am goin go for the re polished lip for starters....just ordered a polishing kit and will do a write up on that when done

as for main colour?????

i even considering the d1 with black insert, they do them like that stndard and it may set of nicely against the polished lip

opinions/photoshop input welcome

i quite like the red to be honest, it makes your wheels make a statement about your car.

Much appreciated. I tried to PS it my self but i havn't really used it before and couldnt do it too well. I was using the "replace colour" tool. If there another tool or anything your suposed to use after that?

thanks for all that mate-much apprectaied..........i'm going for gold, the early pic u put up made me think hammerite smooth aerosol gold may work well plus white cars with gold alloys tend to look decent
