Gold MRD car for sale

Post by Andy F »

I bought the car from MRD back in 2001 and have done lots and lots of things to it in that time!
Its running about 2.3 bar of boost on a GT3076 so is over 500bhp, 1/4 mile on the old TTE group A CC at 2 bar boost was 11.5 @ 125mph so will defo do a better time with new set up.
Im pretty sure i will end up breaking the car (which is a real shame) but the parts alone would sell for over 10k, but i thought i would offer it up whole first.
If you have any questions just ask.
I will be working away for 2 weeks from next week, if there is no interest i will put all the parts in the for sale section.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy, saw the car in the flesh at JAE, looked great, very sorry to hear you're selling up...

I really hope she stays in one piece but like a vulture, I'm going to ask for dibbs on the brake kit and tie rods. Like I say though I hope it stays whole :thumleft:

Cheers Leon, i do too!
Jae was the first time out this year for the car, it just sits in my central heated garage for 11 half months of the year, so no rust, lol

I will give you a shout when i have worked out the prices mate!

Such a special unique MR 2 truly one in a million. Sorry to see her move on. Lucky new owner - hopefully with luck.
Every corner of tuning plus detail thought out planned and placed together. Thumbs up.

Just to add, this car is without doubt, one of the best in the UK (probably Europe). Meticulously maintained by a true enthusiast with no expense spared.

All the best with the sale Andy mate. Hope it goes to a good home.

Here's a couple more pics...

If my situation was different I'd buy your and Chris' to have the pair but I need to flog my cars and reduce them down to one everyday car really.

I've always liked this shot I took...

Hope it goes to a good home.
