Best single exit exhaust

thinking of swapping my twin for a single exit.

was thinking HKS Hi Power.


any suggestions?

my uncle has the hi power on his skyline, its sounds absolutely fooking gorgeous \:D/

never heard it for the mr2, but id imagine the same quality and sounds would be carried over :thumleft:

Best for what? Outright flow? Low Noise?

Hks hiper is a quiet but has only a 2.5" flexy to my suprise. Or at least mine is.So not the best for flow.

outright flow, noise isnt the biggest issue for me.

I've got an Apexi GT, too loud really, its not a nice car to be in on the motorway.

I currently have it on my Duce and sounds like a deep tone bass so it's really not noisy, it kind of humms! As for the flow, :-k I guess it depends on the size of your turbo exhaust outlet because the HKS piping starts out with a diameter of about 2 3/4" at the CAT and tappereds it's way to 3" at the exhaust! :-k I would think if you have the stock turbo the flow should be adequate!

would not something like the buddyclub spec 1/2 be best for flow as there almost straight through.

Or you could fab one yourself by basterdising a length of scaffolding!
