Don't know if anyone's seen any info on this but Team 17 have been busy working on bringing this Amiga saga up to date with a XBLA/PSN remake, Could be interesting as there's rumours saying it's one of the most expensive games developed of recent times?
Anyhow they've now released info saying it's a 360 timed exclusive (Booooo!!!!) with PS3 version to follow (Yaaay!!!)

Re: Alien Breed Evolution
I remember playing the original on the Amiga as a kid - such a great game!
Two player simultaneous play was a blast!
I remember many times triggering the bomb to blow up the level and then franticly legging it to the lift with a mate, only to both panic and get stuck in a doorway due to the big shoulder pads and both get blown up as we jostled to free ourselves!
I remember reading in Amiga Power (great mag) that apparently Alistair Brimble stuggled to come up with good Alien noises until he took a trip to the Zoo where he recorded elephants trumpeting. He then edited the sounds, warping and distorting them to make the scary Alien shrieks!
God I really am a games geek - how do I remember that? I...

Re: Alien Breed Evolution
It would of course be great if all the Amiga originals where included as unlockables but can't see it happening

Re: Alien Breed Evolution
Take Baldur's Gate RPG style elements for town, speaking and travelling between locations (or Fallout 3 perhaps) inc. close up 3D fight sequences similar to Mortak Kombat (yes, with OTT blood effects) and you get MOONSTONE HD Now that could be interesting.

Re: Alien Breed Evolution
I love my hori-shooters so a revamped Project-X would be nice, X2 on the PS1 was good but damn was it hard.
