Any 1 recommend a garage in Liverpool area?

Post by Thell »

I bought a Mk2 N/A last weekend - great car and im very happy with it!

However, it needs the cambelt changing and im wondering whether anyone here can recommend a garage i could go to? What kind of price should i be looking at?
Thanks in advance, Chris

Depending on where abouts you live in Liverpool, I have just recently had mine done at E.R.S in Burscough (01704892252) in Lancashire. They changed the cambelt and water pump for £180 plus labour. They had a look over the car and found one or two small faults, I would recommend these.

Hope this helps

I took it to car logix in Speke - they advertised as Toyota specialists which caught my attention.
They charged me £270 to change cambelt and tensioners, seems quite a bit more than has been mentioned in this thread but its done now anyway :)
