Hi my alternator died so pulled it out and it was covered in oil which looks like its coming from a leaking rocker cover. I have had a look and everyone mentions screws to take this out but I have bolts all over so just wondering if I am looking at the right parts?? Has anyone got a guide or can tell me how to remove the cover as it seems like you have to remove quite a lot to get to the gasket?
Any pics would be great.
Cheers

You need to remove the plenum chamber first. You should be able to see the bolts easily enough.
Also the inlet body needs to be removed.
I'd go marking the screws with some coloured permanent pens before removing as there is a lot of them!
Once its off, its quite simple.
If you don't feel confident then take it to a garage and pay, shouldnt think it'd cost too much.
