nice, Dan88!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
so i've just checked again
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
+ searched on the net, found this website:
http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/pr_CUSCO/suspension.html
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
So I'm following Sensei Yuya Sumiyama's instructions step by step, and i've just seen that I have the
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"non" fully threaded type of coilover
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(so basically I got the cheaper sh.t).
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
So, Mister
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"I've-got-my-black-belt-in-coilovers"
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(i.e Sensei Sumiyama) tells me:
On this type of coilover, vehicle's height is adjusted by moving the spring seats up and down.
Loosen the lock nut, and screw the spring lower seats with the special wrench to the preferred height, and tighten the lock nut again.
Now you are done.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Ok, Bruce Lee, I got it.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
So I need to turn the spring lower seat to lower or.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"unlower" my car.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
But what does he mean by
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"loosen the lock nut"??
I've taken a look under the hood, I can see how the coilover is attached to the car, there's big nut on top
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(it can be seen on the weblink's drawing).
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Do I have to loosen that central nut, or remove it??
If I remove it, will the coilover stay attached or will I face a
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"oh-sh.t-what-have-I-done" kind of situation??
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Thanks for your help,
Ben
