[Mk2] [NA] Rev 3 Rear lights HELP :P

I just bought a rev 3 and noticed that the rear lights might not be working correct?

its a rev 3 na import the brake lights come on but only the high level comes on also the outter 2 ring lights the inner 2 stay off ?? also the rear fog comes on in the inner driver side ring ?? any help welcome cheers guys

blown bulbs?

you can check to see if you have voltage on the little block in the boot, get a mate to press the brake and look for the one that gives a voltage with brake applied and none when off the brake.

If thats the case, i'd suggest replacing the bulbs. Take you about 15-20 mins

If it's an import it's probably had the inner 2 bulbs disconnected from the brake circuit so that they can be used as rear fog lights. When I bought mine it had been wired up so that the outer 2 bulbs operated as brake and normal rear lights, and the inner 2 operated as fogs - the inner 2 only have single fillament bulb holders so they can't be used as dual function unless you replace the bulb holders.
