where's the best place to buy them?

+ one's that don't disintegrate quickly :roll:

Mine are in bits 2, how much work is involved in replacing them?

not too difficult, just have to remove the shock.

Suppose it is a little time consuming but must be done else your shocks could get knackered :-k

The standard oe shock boots also act as bumpstops

Look for the parts called bumper in the list. However it says you have ohlins shocks in your garage? The boots on my old ohlins were completely different and didnt seem to have any sort of bumpstop.

yup i have knackered ohlins on the car atm and they don't have bumpstops.

I have a full set of KYB GR2 shock inserts which i want to use with rebuildable struts from a rev1.

Wow :shock: those shock boots are expensive! :pale:

Yeah tell me about it lol but I didnt want to go without them mainly because i'd like some bumpstops.

Thats another link for strut boots, might be a bit cheaper if you dont get stung for import duty but I dunno if they are the same thing as the oe part tho.

get down to your local motor factors and buy universal steering rack gaitors. Cost me about 4 quid for 2 and they fit perfect
